Mark Monchek, President

Mark MonchekSince 1982, Mark has earned a strong reputation as a consultant and entrepreneur by working with hundreds of startups, mid-market companies, Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies to help them grow strategically and profitably. He has served on the boards of the Business Development Network committee and was chair of the Workplace 2000 National Conference. Mark has a serious commitment to charitable work including developing the PerformXcellence/Men Mentoring Men Scholarship Fund and supporting the work of numerous non-profit organizations.

His work has been featured in Working Woman magazine, Newsday, the San Francisco Examiner, and Sylvia Porter’s Personal Finance, and he has appeared on numerous television and radio programs including Regis Philbin’s “Health Styles.” Mark’s published articles include, “Drawing the Lines,” which appeared in Catalyst, “Stop Procrastinating Now” in Personnel Administrator, “The Challenge of Productivity” in Lamplighter (ASTD Newsletter) and “Putting Off the Future” in Management World. He has been a guest speaker at Cornell University, Columbia University, American Lung Association, World Presidents Organization, The New York Times, and Securities Investment Institute, and was on the faculty of the College of New Rochelle. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New York University and makes his home in the Bronx.

Andrew Levine, Creative Director

Andrew Levine joined PerformXcellence in 2009 to help guide the company’s marketing, branding and business development activities. He brings to the company a wealth of consulting experience across diverse industries including technology, education and the arts. Previous clients in the technology sector include Citibank, Philip Morris and American Express. He served as vice-president of database development for JP Consulting where he led programming teams and managed client services. Andrew also served as president of a commercial theater production company that invests in Broadway and West End productions and produces and develops new material. A long time educator, he has served on the faculties of the Savannah College of Design, The University of Hartford and Pace University. Andrew holds degrees from The Manhattan School of Music and Georgia Southern University, and currently lives in Connecticut.
